My creative process is aided by my deep spirituality combined with a life-long quest for meaning. I live for special “moments” and seek out serendipity. Like an alchemist, I put dissimilar things together, hoping for happy accidents to occur. I tune into my intuition through meditation, dream interpretation, mystical experiences and shamanism. I have always been innately drawn to the intricate mathematical patterns in nature, made more evident through fractals or chaos theory and cymatics. I am not concerned with following societal norms or conventions and have instead sought to heal myself and others. As I detach from my busy mind, I become a channel through which wonder flows. The more I tune into the rhythms and cycles of nature, the stronger the results. I become a mirror reflecting back that which is and has always been. My active role in this process of creation is to seek out the odd, unique, or rare, like finding a diamond in a mountain of black coal, or cracking open an ordinary looking rock most step over, to expose the multi-faceted, colorful crystals within. As the universe continues to create ever-greater novelty through us at an accelerating rate, I will surf this wave with humor and humility, in service to all, with deep appreciation for having this opportunity for divine-inspired creative expression.
